上海料理　翠園（曹さんの店）

名古屋市港区。

高級な素材を使用するのではなく、
元のコンビニだったお店の形状をなるべくいかしたデザイン。
外観のアンドン看板には格子を貼付、アイキャッチとなるように発光させる。
外部の駐車場側に格子のフェンスを設け、
その間に植栽を設ける事で、
室内から見ても、外部から見ても、
格子のレイヤーが幾重にも重なる事を意識した。
お店の中央には、円形の半個室を設け、
空間のアクセントとし、
壁や天井にも格子を廻し、中国っぽさを表現した。
また、翠園の” 翡翠のグリーン” をあらわすため、
緑の竹であったり、淡いグリーンガラスを用いている。

Rather than using high-end materials, the design makes the most of the store’s original shape as a convenience store.
The exterior andon sign is decorated with latticework that glows to catch the eye.
A latticework fence was installed on the exterior parking lot side,
and plants were placed between the fence,
so that the latticework would overlap multiple times when viewed from both inside and outside.
A circular semi-private room was set up in the center of the store,
as an accent to the space, and latticework was also used on the walls and ceiling to express a Chinese feel.
To represent Suien’s “jade green,” green bamboo and pale green glass were used.
