igu_m_art　(イグエムアート）

ギャラリーや骨董屋が集まる大阪市西天満。
弊社も入る北老松ビルの１階。
なじみの不動産屋さんに紹介して頂き、ギャラリーの計画がスタートした。
クライアントのお母さんは世界中の砂漠を旅し、砂漠の砂で絵を描かれる作家さん。
クライアント自身も砂時計を集められていて、”砂”に縁を感じた。
そこで、
砂を混ぜた左官をスタッフとクライアントと一緒に壁に塗り、
弊社の事務所の床にも塗ったコンクリートの補修剤を、また皆で床に塗った。
入り口の扉はモロッコのアンティーク扉を取り付け、
天井、シャッターをむき出しとし、空間に開放感を得た。
ギャラリーのセオリーであるホワイトキューブを否定し、
他にない、味わい深いギャラリーになった。

Nishitenma in Osaka City is home to many galleries and antique shops.
It’s on the first floor of Kitaroimatsu Building, where our company is also located.
We were introduced to the gallery by a familiar real estate agent, and started planning the gallery.
The client’s mother is an artist who travels to deserts around the world and paints pictures using desert sand.
The client himself collects hourglasses, and felt a connection with “sand.”
So,
together with the client and staff, we applied plaster mixed with sand to the walls,
and then we all applied the same concrete repair agent that we used on the floor of our office to the floor.
An antique Moroccan door was installed for the entrance door,
and the ceiling and shutters were left exposed, giving the space a sense of openness.
We rejected the white cube theory of galleries,
and created a unique and tasteful gallery.
