大阪市城東区関目。

コンテナ好きの中川さんから、
中古のコンテナを積み上げて２、３階は住宅、
１階は鉄板焼き屋をしたいという施主を紹介して頂き、プロジェクトは始まった。
敷地は、母親が住んでいた実家の長屋の一部。
日本の法律では中古のコンテナを積むことは規制が多く断念、
韓国釜山で日本の法律に合ったコンテナを製作し、現場まで輸送した。
現場は間口が狭く、上部に電線も多くて、敷地に設置できるかどうか心配したが、
クレーン屋さんの神ワザで難なく設置。
コンテナを設置した後、オープン迫る中、
急いで内装施工業者さんに内装設備工事をしていただいた。
あまり前例のないプロジェクトであり、何度も問題点にぶつかり、
スケジュールが遅れたが、寛大な施主のおかげもあり、
無事オープンすることができた。

Mr. Nakagawa, who likes containers, introduced me to a client who wanted to build a house on the second and third floors and a teppanyaki restaurant on the first floor by stacking used containers, and the project began. The site is part of the tenement house where client’s mother lived.
Japanese law has many restrictions on loading second-hand containers. A container that complies with Japanese law was manufactured in Busan, South Korea, and transported to the site. The frontage of the site is narrow and there are many electric wires on the top, so I was worried about whether it could be installed on the site, but the crane shop’s godly tricks installed it without difficulty. After the container was installed and the opening was approaching, we had an interior construction contractor quickly install the interior equipment. It was an unprecedented project, and although we ran into many problems and were behind schedule, thanks to the generosity of the client, we were able to open without incident.
